In this collection the soloist will encounter a variety of demands including various articulations, accidentals which are used in place of key signatures, tempo changes, eighth notes, occasional harmony, optional pedaling, and a coda sign. The different keys represented include C minor, F minor, G minor and D minor. While middle C position is used for most of the songs, occasionally the pianist will be asked to shift hand position briefly. Students will enjoy singing along as most of the solos include lyrics.
